I have been running retreats in the UK since 2016, plus I take students to India to Mumbai and an Ashram in Nashik every 18 months.

I use four different venues for the UK retreats, all with their own character and beauty. The retreats consist of 5 yoga classes over the weekend, a mindfulness workshop, a sound bath and fantastic walks in nature. The retreats are a chance for self care, reflection, new direction and rejuvenation. Taking the time to connect within, to be compassionate with ones feelings, and to feed the seeds of joy. I use chakra work within the yoga sessions to explore aspects of our lives, our habits, our thoughts. By focusing on these aspects you can gain awareness and mindfully make changes. The classes are mixed ability, I am able to provide modifications to poses, and also offer ways to work harder within a pose.

The Mindfulness workshop offers practices that students can use to gain awareness of their present state of mind, to show themselves compassion and understanding, and to encourage healthy/positive mindsets.

Breathing techniques/pranayama are taught within the yoga sessions, as these powerful techniques have a very beneficial effect, improving mental health, and vitality.

Mantra chanting is offered at these retreats, repeating a mantra can release the worries of the mind, release stress and helps to raise the frequency of the energy in the body (this is optional).

Ayurvedic practices are also taught at two of the venues, plus a Cacao Ceremony is offered at Mellor Country House.

Craft exercises such as Mandala drawing are offered at two of the venues, Mellor Country House and Holland House.

All the retreats I offer include a single/double room at the stated price, and two venues have en-suite rooms.
