Buxton in Derbyshire, highest market town in England
The Palace Hotel is in the beautiful Spa town of Buxton in the Peak District. This spectacular building was built in the 1860s, it has recently had a comprehensive renovation, modernizing the bedrooms, function rooms, swimming pool and spa.
The yoga holidays offered here are run on a Sunday to Tuesday, avoiding the busy wedding/event Saturday evenings.
The real delight with this retreat are the walks, one in the Goyt Valley, and one through the town and up to Solomon’s Temple. Buxton itself has lots to offer, the Pavilion Gardens often has events/craft fairs to visit. The Buxton Dome is well worth a visit, and there are some nice clothes shops too.
Prices are £435 for new students and £410 for returning students.
